From Service to Stewardship
Acre & Herd Ranch was born from a commitment to service—both to our country and to the land. As a veteran of the First Cavalry Division with deployment to Iraq, I learned the value of discipline, responsibility, and long-term thinking. Those same principles guide how we ranch today.
After returning from service, I built a career in telecom and IT. But something kept calling me back to the land. I made the decision to leave the corporate world behind and invest in regenerative agriculture. We raise premium Katahdin sheep on pasture, practicing sustainable methods that heal the soil, build community, and produce exceptional lamb. Every animal is raised with care. Every acre is managed for the future.
Our ranch is more than a business—it's a commitment to stewardship. We believe in doing the work right, supporting our community, and leaving the land better than we found it. That's the Acre & Herd way.
